Melbourne Theatre Company

November 27, 2009

Melbourne Theatre Company.  When viewing the MTC from a right angle the neon steel tubes resembles three-demnisonal shapes. Since most events are at night they coloured the building black to really bring up the tubbing. This facade is supposed to represent and actor bringing life to a dark backdrop on a stage. Inside the building there are different theatres with their own themes.

Actually, sorry to be nitpicky, but the second last shot (the warm woody-looking auditorium) is not MTC, but Melbourne Recital Centre.
